An independent bookshop specialising in theatre, philosophy, and politics. The infamous Calder Bookshop & Theatre also put on theatre productions, film screenings, and more in their intimate theatre, located at the back of the bookshop.

Their unique theatre is separated from the bookshop by a partition, it seats 32, basic technical set-up and the stage measures 5.2 x 3.0 m

Central Film School provides students with all the facilities and equipment they’ll need on their learning journey. Depending on the needs of specific shoots and programme modules, students also have access to off-site facilities and spaces. Studio A is available for The Lambeth Fringe - a functional screening theatre with retractable seats and a full-size projector screen.

The Golden Goose is a fully air-conditioned, 85-seat theatre and is near Oval Tube close to the heart of Camberwell.  The theatre was founded by Michael Kingsbury in 2020 and exists as a creative hub for artists to make all kinds of theatrical experiences. Since opening, we have hosted multi-Offie-winning company Out Of The Forest Theatre, Fringe-First winner Chris Larner, and a new horror company featuring new work by Olivier award-winning Morgan Lloyd Malcolm & Abi Zakarian. Chewboy Productions' "DJ Bazzer's Year 6 Disco" won an Offie for its run at the Golden Goose in 2021. Founder Michael Kingsbury was awarded ‘Outstanding Contribution To Pub Theatre’ by London Pub Theatre’s.

Omnibus Theatre is a multi-award-winning independent theatre in Clapham, South London. The heart of their ambitious programme, inspired by our building’s literary heritage, lies in both classics re-imagined and contemporary storytelling. They provide a platform for new writing and interdisciplinary work, aiming to give voice to the underrepresented and challenge perceptions and believe in affordable tickets and theatre for all.

Streatham Space Project is a Theatre, Music, Art, Dance & Comedy venue in Zone 3, south London. Celebrating the eclectic culture of south London, and hosting creative events to bring people together from across our neighbourhood. They provide formative creative experiences for young people, working with schools and charities, and work with first-time and experienced south London artists and producers to help them develop work, connect it to audiences in our area, and support their careers.

Home of The Lambeth Fringe, The Bread & Roses, is an award-winning and innovative fringe pub theatre.

A 50-seat fringe venue above The Bread & Roses Pub, the theatre programs a wide-spread variety of productions for local as well as far-reaching audiences. Equality, diversity and artistic quality are at the forefront of the theatre's programming, which features in-house productions as well as many visiting companies. The theatre regularly hosts touring shows and has worked with award-winning ensembles with decades of experience but also frequently welcomes and supports emerging theatre-makers taking their first steps. The programme includes new writing, contemporary revivals, reinvented classics and occasionally also devised work, improvisational theatre, comedy events, family shows and physical theatre.

London’s Cinema Museum is devoted to keeping alive the spirit of cinema from the days before the multiplex. Set in historic surroundings in Kennington, close to the Elephant & Castle, The Cinema Museum houses a unique collection of artefacts, memorabilia and equipment that preserves the history and grandeur of cinema from the 1890s to the present day.

The Cinema Museum will be showcasing a series of events and screenings under The Lambeth Fringe.

The Glitch is a vibrant artsy café & bar and unique creative space in the heart of Waterloo, created by VAULT Creative Arts, producers of VAULT Festival. Good coffee, cheeesy toasties, cold beers, delicious cocktails and the most welcoming staff. It’s the perfect place to meet with friends, work in comfort, or relax admiring local artworks. As the evening draws in, the space morphs into a lively bar with intimate nights of comedy, theatre, music, spoken word, and special one-off events and parties. A unique space with plenty of atmosphere that’s open and inclusive to all. Queer-friendly and proudly a safe space for the LGBTQIA community, with many events led by or created for queer people.

The Spacement is an intimate space downstairs at The Glitch with a capacity of 30, ideal for Stand Up Comedy, script readings, film screenings, intimate sharings, presentations, spoken word, and acoustic nights. Basic tech provision.

Conveniently located opposite Clapham North underground station, The Railway is the very definition of urban cool, mixing a stylish contemporary bar, classic pub features and a handful of quirky touches – gorgeous wood flooring, wrap-around windows, statement lighting and intriguing local artwork adorning the walls.  Outside you’ll find benches and tables perfectly positioned for a spot of al-fresco people watching on those milder days.  

Home of The Comedy Bandits with free comedy shows every Wednesday and Thursday with a range of acts, both new & established. Plus Comedy Bandits Most Wanted once a month on a friday during The Lambeth Fringe showcasing the best talent in the UK and beyond, plus a tv headliner.

The White Bear Theatre was founded by Michael Kingsbury in 1989 and has helped develop some of the countries leading theatre makers including Joe Penhall, Sharon Horgan and Dennis Kelly. It has also hosted work by a new generation of practitioners including Ruby Thomas, Poleroid Theatre, The Ugly Sisters and Martha Watson Allpress.
