Sonia Aste has been fired 5 times and says, ‘Redundancy is like adultery, you’re always the last one to know’. ‘You’re Fired’ is the new stand-up show from comedian/award winning speaker Sonia Aste. After her last show SOLD OUT in Edinburgh, this energetic Spaniard is back with her unique brand of fast-paced, foot stomping comedy. This time she faces her past and one of life’s woe’s: redundancy.
Having reached more than 10,000 hours’ rule on redundancy, she considers herself an expert on the subject and says,
‘Statistics show that more than 40% of us will face redundancy at some point, but if you think I’m going to slag off companies ‘restructuring’, ‘downsizing’ or ‘reorganizing’ … you’re wrong! I have gone through 5 redundancies and if you follow my guidelines, you’ll learn to love them just as much as I do.
