“I look up and there’s this steam of sweat dripping from the ceiling onto my face and it’s so warm, fresh from the mashed skins moving to every second of the beat.”
A new piece of writing developed with the Bread and Roses Theatre Company over the last seven months. Follow the Lines is a personal story exploring themes of sexuality, drugs, identity and family through the internal voice of the main character, Chloe.
A one-woman show about a gay woman in her mid-30s struggling to keep on the right track, Chloe spends her weekends partying but things are starting to take their toll. Whilst she pines for real connection her choices could jeopardise her future.
This is a ‘delayed’ coming of age play about feeling lost whilst watching the world race by, facing your fears and acceptance.
Written by Olivia Pryle and performed by her sister, Rebecca Pryle.
