Noah just wants a few things. He wants to finally introduce his girlfriend to his Grandma. He wants his Grandma to finally be proud of him. But some unexpected dinner guests complicate things. As does the fact he's gay.

From Noah’s point of view, it’s all quite simple really. Introduce his girlfriend to his Grandma, blow his Grandma away with his extraordinary cooking skills and then she’ll finally back off and let him live his life the way he wants to. Only problem is, his Grandma isn’t easily impressed. Oh, and unexpected guests keep interrupting the dinner. And also.. Noah doesn’t actually have a girlfriend. Because he’s gay. Noah and his faux-girlfriend Billie, Billie's astrology-obssessed girlfriend Leah, and Noah's sort-of ex Ollie will all attempt to keep up the facade, but in a tiny London flat with not enough chairs, things are bound to boil over.

Thalia Arts is a new company dedicated to telling new, comedic queer stories and rewriting outdated narratives of stereotypical LGBTQ+ relationships, that features an all-queer creative team. Dinner Theatre is an exciting new play from Laura May Price, directed by LAMDA graduate Beth Wilson.
