Late 20-something Ellie just moved to London to become an actress and set the world on fire. But after the city chews her up she decides to set up an online entertainment page where men all over the world pay her to do nasty stuff into the web cam. Addicted to the power and the cash she suddenly finds herself in a dangerous situation when she meets her most loyal viewer in the casting room.

Cam Girl is a rude, risky and raunchy commentary on millennials, stereotypes and misguided fourth wave feminism. With explicit language and conversations, Cam Girl goes beyond the borders of acceptable; it’s not at all how ladies should behave.

Cam Girl is written by Hannah Lochhead, Artistic Director of Platinum Sugar Productions. Having just enjoyed a successful production of A Spoonful of Sugar, a Burlesque Cabaret at the Camden Fringe, PSP is back for a second run of Cam Girl after the 2018 Faversham Fringe. PSP won the HKLER award for ‘best death on stage’ for Julius Caesar, an all-female Burlesque adaptation at Shakespeare in the Port’ Hong Kong arts festival and intends to revive the production next year.
